INTERNATIONAL FREINDLY MATCH

Result - Jamaica 2-0 Paraguay

Goals - Byfield 11' Langley 28'

Location - Kingston, Jamaica

The Reggae Boyz beat Paraguay 2-0 in a warm up game for CONCACAF Gold Cup. Walsall midfielder Jamie Lawrence played the full 90 minutes, and is certain to figure in their Gold Cup Campaign.

Former Walsall player Darren Byfield opened the scoring on 10 minutes for Jamaica before Langley grabbed the second of the game before the half our mark.

Paraguay: Justo Villar Rodrigo Mendoza (Walter Fretes), Dario Caballero, Ruben Maldonado, Jorge Nunes, Diego Gavilan (Walter Avalos), Carlos Bonnet, Angel Ortiz (Edgar Gonzalez), Victor Ortiz, Juan Samudio (Miguel Cardenas), Fredy Bareiro (Jacinto Zorilla).

CONCACAF GOLD CUP MATCH

Result - Jamaica 0-1 Columbia

Goals -Jairo Patino 42'

Location - Miami

Reports suggest that it was a close game that either side could have taken all three points from.  The Reggae Boyz forward line always seemed a bit to light weight, and they will have to improve in the final third if they are to progress any further.
