We may all be desperate to hear about Merson, but WalsallYCasual's rumours prove true again! We must have found Vinny a temporary bar manager.

The official site is saying that Vinny Samways has, indeed, signed for, wait for it, another two years!

The former Spurs, Everton (and yes, Wolves) midfielder has decided to forgo the pleasures of another season in the Spanish League, or retiring to look after his bars for a hard season with Walsall in the 1st Division.

Vinny was an instant hit with fans during his loan spell last season and was instrumental in us finishing comfortably above the relegation zone, so this is good news.

Colin Lee's reputation for attracting quality players has been enhanced again, as his squad buiding takes real shape.
