The Merson saga drags on.

According to Lee, Merson has told Hart he is only going to Walsall and wants to play for Lee.

Lee is willing to wait as long as it takes.

Redknapp and Mandaric have been quiet on the issue.

There is no news on Pompey paying a big part of his wages.

Things have been a lot quieter on the Merson front today, but we now know why Paul Hart rubbished Forests chances of signing Merson over the weekend. We await further developments....
