Stanley's Scottish Sojourn

It might be late, as I heroically fix my PC singlehandedly, but Stanley is on his way North in Hawley's footsteps and there is defender news as well!

The club have announced that 20 year old midfielder Craig Stanley will be following Karl Hawley by spending a six month loan period at Raith Rovers. This should give the byoungster some much needed first team experience, while freeing up funds for the crucial signings of a central defender and striker.

Meanwhile, the Evening Mail are suggesting that Danny Hay has not left the building at all, but is asking for a better contract offer. Their compatriots at the Express and Star are suggesting that Lee has approached another player and is expecting to hear today. Rumours at Moor Green on Friday were that this might be Leicester City's Northern irish International Gerry Taggert.
