| Two goals in either half sent the Saddlers home defeated. Lee played a strong side including new signings, Oakes, Merson, Osborne, Emblen and Samways. Leitao was missing, so youngster Karl Hawley deputised. 1500 saw the game, with a few hundred Saddlers fans present. |
