Akinbiyi and Johnson no-goes, Proudlock maybe?

Colin Lee has today ruled out moves for two former Premiership players. Lee has ruled out a move for Ade Akinbiyi as his wages are out of Walsall’s budget and the striker is against a loan move, while Blues want a fee for Michael Johnson which again is out of the question.

Rumour has it that Colin Lee is talking to Adam Proudlock of Wolves. This has come from someone at the game Saturday who often gets inside information regarding the team. The deal in question seems to be a loan deal, whether it be 3 months or a season we will have to wait and see.

The rumour does seem to make sense. Proudlock spent time out on loan last season as was pushed down the pecking order at The Molineux due to the form of Miller, Ndah, Blake and Sturridge. Now that Wolves have signed Steffan Iverson, Proudlock's chance of getting a game next season seem unlikely.

It is common knowledge that Colin lee is looking for another striker after talks with Junior broke down just over a week ago. Lee is also looking for another central defender and Ludo Pollet's name is still being touted about and sources reveal that lee has spoken to him at some stage this summer.
