Injury scuppers striker deal

We told you about Lee's move for Adam Proudlock, but it all looks to be off because the player has picked up an injury.

Adam Proudlock has a pulled hamstring and his move to the Saddlers looks to be off. Proudlock picked up the knock in a 2-0 victory against Man City.

We were informed that Lee had taken a serious interest in the player, but the search for a forward looks set to continue.

Lee did say bringing in a striker depended on raising some income via a cup run, so we could be in for a long wait.
