Junior - Back in England - Not with Walsall

After losing out on the Michael Johnson deal, it looks as though the Rams will be taking on another target of ours, Junior.

Fans will be sickened to hear that Junior has turned up - training with Derby County. The Brazilian forward scored a hat trick against the Rams at the end of last season, and has since vanished off the face of the earth. 

The players agents have been blasted by Lee, for ignoring faxes and touting Junior around Europe. There were rumours that Junior wanted to come to Walsall, and that his English agent was also keen to help him out, but today's news is a major blow to the club.

His first league start came against Derby early last season, and his last game at the Bescot Stadium was also against the Rams.  Although he has not yet signed a deal, it looks as though he will be playing anywhere but here this season.

If he does sign for Derby, and ends up partnering Izale Mcleod (Well known to Walsall fans !) they will have the most light weight strike force in the Nationwide. Junior needs a hard worker up along side him. Not a fairy who falls around on the floor.
