Tranmere Rovers - Palethorpe, Vaughan, Ashton, Linwood, Gray, Navarro, McGuire, Harrison, Dagnall, Dadi, Olsen. Subs: Jennings, Brown, Scott, Tremarco, Pinch.

Walsall - Kerr, Willetts, Harkness, K Taylor, Caines, Aranalde, D Taylor, Smith, Birch, Fryatt (Atieno), Matias. Subs: Dann, Jameson, Platt, Coleman.

A relatively inexperienced Walsall side failed to see of Tranmere in there latest Pontins Premier League clash. Tranmere opened the scoring on 25 minutes with a goal from Eugene Dadi.

The sides went in all square at half time thanks to a Matty Fryatt equaliser. The Walsall youngster latched on to a Birch ball with 5 minutes of the half left. We had the better first half, and maybe the break came to soon.

Rovers got the winner with 10 minutes to go when the Saddlers failed to get a challenge in on Dagnall and let him lob Kerr for the winner.

1 positive from the game was Matty Fryatt who could well find himself on the bench for Saturdays clash with Derby County at the Bescot.
