The Experiance
Lovely on the eye, good atmosphere, excellent facilities for away fans. The parking could be better, but is the only real negative. Our visits their have seen some hostile behaviour from the home fans. Not the nicest set of fans in the country!

Played for both sides

Paul Simpson has played for both Derby and Walsall, as has defender Matt Carbon.  Derby forward Junior also had a spell at the Bescot last season on loan from Treze. Current squad member Paul Ritchie spent part of last season at Derby, while loan star Deon Burton made his name at Derby in the late 1990s. Darren Wrack and Kevin Harper are two wide men who spent time at Derby as youngsters. Harper had a loan spell at the Bescot back in 2001. Other players to have played for both sides include. Keeper Steve Cherry, Mark Wallington, Charlie Bunyan, Trevor Christie, Jack Walton, Wilf Walsh, Normal Rowe, Graham Moseley, fans favourite David Preece and defender Charlie Palmer.
