Burton going home - new boy on the way ?

Burton will not be staying at the Bescot after his loan spell is up. He is heading back to Pompey, but is another striker joining us from the South coast?

The club have confirmed that they will not be extending Deon Burtons loans spell at the Bescot Stadium. The 26 year old Reggae boy international has only managed 4 appearances since joining the Saddlers, and has not impressed Colin lee. 

During this time he has struggled with a  neck injury and failed to find the  net. Saturday is Deon's last game as a Saddlers players. Burton had hoped he would impress during what could have been a 7 game stint, but failed to do so. 

Strong rumours persist regarding another loan deal involving his Portsmouth colleague Mark Burchill.
