A recipe for disaster?

The Villa reserves are going to play Half a dozen games at the Bescot this season. Will this lead to the pitch becoming the beach it was last year?

The Saddlers have agreed to allow the Aston Villa reserves to trample all over our newly laid pitch.

Its nothing new and there has been an on-off arrangement ever since we moved to the Bescot back in 1990.

Villa reserves playing at the Bescot means our boys will be playing up at Keys Park yet again. Just how the finances work is unclear, but Villa must be making it worth our while.

Give us your views on the pitch...should we be increasing the chances of it becoming a beach yet again? It wouldn’t really suit Paul Merson or total football would it?
