ITV Digital Debacle Hits Home

The fallout from the ITV Digital fiasco showed it's teeth yet again today, as the club announced a loss for the first time in 11 years.

Club owner Jeff Bonsor revealed that the club had made a loss last year of £1,000,000.

The losses, the first suffered in eleven years, came about as a result of a £2 million drop in income caused by the demise of ITV Digital and also the lower than expected income from the web site deal.

The club has taken drastic steps to mitigate these losses, of course, which is why the final amount was only £1,000,000 and everyone concerned deserves congratulations that we are still in a financial secure position and the playing side still doing well, following the high profile signing of Paul Merson.
