The Saddlers are one of a host of clubs chasing troubled midfielder Adam Murray who is currently training with Notts County.
Colin Lee is in the race to sign Adam Murray along with Raja Casablanca, Kidderminster, Stockport, Oxford and Northampton Town. Murray is currently spending time with Notts County after being released by Derby County.
His agent today told the press...
"We're going to be making a decision this week on where he's going to go, so we'll be talking to a number of clubs with a view to hopefully having Adam installed before the Christmas fixture programme gets underway.Adam's already had to deal with more problems than most people face in a lifetime but he's a very popular lad in football and I'd say he's 99% fit now."
It seems to be quiet simple, he is being courted by a host of lower division clubs, and if he has any ambition at all he will choose to join the Saddlers. Murray is only 22 years old and has England Under 20 caps. He is a promising midfielder who got well over 50 games under his belt while at Pride Park.
His contract with the Rams was terminated following his well publicised drinking problems which have seen him have a stint in the notorious Priory Clinic in London.
