Praise for Osborn, Injury news on Pedro,a Carbon update and some Milwall news.
Carbon in contention
Media reports are suggesting that troubled defender Matt Carbon is in contention for a spot on the bench on Saturday. This news follows Danny Hays (pictured left) return to New Zealand. Carbon is our only other center half, apart from rookie Bennett.. Colin Lee told the Birmingham Mail "Matt will come into contention for the weekend. We're unable to go into the loan market because I've been told there are no funds available to do so at the present time. That means we will have to carry on with the players we have and Matt Carbon is one of those players."
Pedro gets stronger
Pedro Matias (pictured left) is making good progress with his foot injury. It has been nearly 2 months since his last appearance for the Saddlers, and he could be back within the next two to three weeks.
Milwall Fully Booked
The club have announced that its official travel service to Milwall on Saturday is now fully booked, and no places on the coaches are available. Fans are reminded that the game is not all tickets, and that tickets can be purchased upon your arrival at the New Den. Tickets cost £13 for Adults. £5 OAPS. £3 U16s.
Special praise for Osborn
Colin Lee has singled out Simon Osborn (pictured left) for special praise following his performance on Saturday. Lee was pleased with his performance in the play maker role. Lee told the media "I like to have a playmaker in there and Simon Osborn's been getting better. Sometimes he tries to do too much, though, and he looks better when we switch the formation around to help him out."
