The Saddlers travel to London for a clash with Division 1 rivals Millwall.
Merson out !
The Saddlers are likely to be without Paul Merson who picked up an ankle injury in training. Oakes may take his spot on the bench. Carbon is probably going to make the bench because Danny Hay has returned to NZ. Pedro isn't fit enough for the bench, neither is Aaron Kerr. Pompey have given permission for Vincent to play, although Zigor may keep him out of the team. We can expect the same XI from Saturday.

Everton rule out Chadwick
Everton have refused on loan striker Nick Chadwick permission to play in the tie. Bob Peeters is the likley replacement for him. Paul Ifill and Robbie Ryan are almost certain not play. Dennis Wise has the option of including himself in the Millwall midfield.

Jorge is back.
The star of the Walsall side at the moment has to be Jorge Leitao. Jorge is looking like he is back to his best after a spell on the sidelines. Goals against West Ham and Reading will have boosted his confidence. He put in a MOTM performance last weekend, and is putting the pressure on recent favourite Gary Birch. Should Lee choose to sacrifice a striker on Saturday he has given the gaffer a tough choice

A true marksmen
Neil Harris is undoubtedly one of the best finishers outside the Premiership. He has a proven record in the football league and will be the man the Saddlers fear most come 3pm on Saturday. Goals win cup ties. The Saddlers could do with a front man like Harris who can consistently find the net. It would be no surprise if it his one of his goals that separates the two sides come the final whistle. He was a snip at just £30,000 in 1998. Possibly one of the canniest signings ever.
