Youngster returns

Karl Hawley has returned to the Bescot following his loan spell with Scottish club Raith Rovers. Hawley told the press "Hopefully I can continue to push on and work hard in training to prove to the manager that I am capable of making the step up and doing a job for the first team. It's been another useful experience and I hope to use it to my advantage now I am back here at the Bescot. It would be no suprise if Hawley went out somewhere else on loan before the end of the season. Craig Stanley returns later this month.

Happy to be back

Darren Bazeley is enjoying his return to the first team. He told the Express and Star "it wasn't much fun" watching from the stands. His time on the sidelines has made him relies he wants to play his football with a "smile on his face".

Buck departs - Bish Future

Former Saddlers chief Alan Buckley has left his post as Rochdale manager. Saddlers forward Andy Bishop is currently on loan with Rochdale, and his future with new boss Steve Parkin remains unclear. We will find out just how much Bishop will figure in his plans when they take on Torquay this weekend.
