Samways strikes back

Vinny is crying foul. He says Lee and the club had agreed to let him leave in January. But its not in writing.

Vinny Samways has spoken about his situation with the Saddlers, shedding more light on that February get out clause. Samways told the Express and Star.....

"Why the hell would I agree to something that allowed me to leave in February, when I can't sign for a club in Spain?" 

"When the club drew up that letter I pointed out that it was actually a month late, and Colin said he wouldn't stand in my way if I wanted to go in January"

"I've bent over backwards for Walsall, and to be fair to Colin he has helped me out by letting me go back to Spain in the week"

"But I've worked my heart out for him and now he could mess up my career."

Lee called the comments a "load of rubbish" and the troubles look set to rumble on. Lee has called for a meeting between Samways, his advisors and the club.

The Express and Star also says that Lee would consider canceling Vinny's contract, but withholding his registration, making it impossible for him to move elsewhere.
