We Were Going To Pay How Much???!!!!

There is a rumour being spread by Rivals that we have made a cash bid!!! for Grimsby's Michael Boulding, but that our current favourite rivals at Derby are in the hunt.

The Rivals site have an article that we are chasing the left sided striker in an attempt to solve our scoring malaise.

Boulding had a high reputation until Villa paid a lot of money for him. He had an unsuccessful spell in Aston, until he was at first loaned, then sold back to Grimsby. He has been scoring regularly for the Mariners this season however.

Boulding is out of contract in the Summer, and it is rumoured that Grimsby would accept £45,000 for him now, rather than lose him for nothing.

Derby are also rumoured to be interested and have £45,000 from the sale of Lee Morris, which they might use, rather than pay off some debts.

How much truth there is in this one is hard to say, unless Jeff Bonsor has made good his promise to finance the aquisition of a striker.
