Target chooses Wimbledon

Wimbledon have beaten the Saddlers to the signature of defender Mark Williams. The defender has signed for one of his former clubs.

Williams returned from the USA looking for a club and was taken on trial by the Saddlers.

Colin Lee told the Sunday Mercury that we had been unable to match Wimbledon's financial package and had missed out on signing the player.

It is amazing that a club like the Dons, who are in administration can offer better deals than us. Williams made a bad start to his Wimbledon career recieving a red card on his debut.
