We preview this weekends away game with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

The City Ground
The City Ground is a well built, modern football Ground that any visitor will enjoy. The atmosphere is great and there is hardly ever any trouble. We made two trips to the City Ground last season and it was easy to find. Car Parking was provided for us behind the away end and the standard of stewarding was not all that bad. The Forest fans to the left of the away end kick up all the noise and are always game for a bit of banter and insult slinging. We have had a good record against Forest over the last couple of seasons. Long may it continue. (Pictured a view the City ground from the away end).

Food & Drink Drink Outside - Larwood & Voce and the Stratford Haven welcome away fans
Drink Inside - Yes, Foster, John Smiths and Guinness
Food - Plenty of burger vans around the stadium. Good selection inside.

The Saddlers look forward to the return of Jim Walker from suspension. Reserve Keepers Aaron Kerr and Andy Petterson are both injured meaning Youth Team goalie Coleman could be on the bench. The Saddlers are without Star midfielder Paul Merson who has booked himself in to rehab. His natural replacement Steve Corica is also out of action, injured. Gary Wales and Jorge Leitao are likely to get another go upfront together. Paul Ritchie's suspension will see Matt Carbon return to the starting lineup.

New boss Joe Kinnear will include new boys Alan Rogers and Andy Impey. Mike Chopra who is on loan from Newcastle made a good impression in his first game, and will want to continue his good form agains the Saddlers. John Thompson will miss the game with a knee injury.
