Going, Going, Gone?

The Express & Star is reporting that Steffan Oakes' nightmare stay at Walsall is ending, as he departs for the black and white of Notts County.

According to the Express & Star, Stefan Oakes has agreed terms to move to Notts County.

The player, whose signing was welcomed by most fans, with his Premiership experience, has been left out in the cold, following the signings of Merson and Samways and the emergence now of Kris Taylor.

His nightmare season culminated in his sending off against Coventry, unjust as it was, when he was given a chance during the "Samways" episode.

There is no fee involved, but this does, hopefully, free up resources for another loan signing. Gary O'Neill would be nice!
