Boucaud involved in reserve game

We bring you news of a new trialist and the reserve game against Sheffield Wednesday.

Reading player Andre Boucaud is on trial with the Saddlers and played in the 3-0  Reserve win over Sheffield Wednesday. 

Boucaud is a young midfielder who joined the Royals as a youngster from QPR. It is no secret that we are after another midfielder, as Lee told the Express and Star "We need to try to get someone in to help us. We need a player who can hopefully make a difference".

In a bid to find out more about Boucaud we consulted Matt Grant from 1871Royals.co.uk who told us...

"Andre is an attacking midfielder with a tremendous amount of potential. He has been on the fringes of our first team for some time, but failed to break in because we have a particularly good midfield."

"He had a short loan spell with Peterboro' at the start of the season where he made a good impression, earning the nickname Jay-Jay after the Bolton star. He is good on the ball and exciting to watch. He is one of our best academy products". 

Boucaud made a favorable impression against the Owls, seeing two of his efforts hitting the woodwork. Leamore Saddler was at the game and gave us his views....

It was a comfortable win with goals from Hawley, Wright and Corica.

The defence looked cool and composed, midfield quite good and, up front, Corica played 80 minutes, scored a cracking goal (and will almost certainly play now against Wigan). Hawley looked interested this week and should have scored more.
