Young striker Andy Bishop is returning the Bescot following the news that Yeovil Town will not be following up their interest in him.

Yeovil Town are turning down the opportunity to sign Walsall striker Andy Bishop on a permanent deal. Bishop scored twice in 5 games during a 1 month loan spell at Huish Park. Glovers boss Gary Johnson told the BBC... "Unfortunately I have had to send Andy back because he's had a couple of niggling injuries that have affected his performance," said Johnson. We can't afford to have loan players that are not fully fit, but we will continue to monitor his progress." This is disappointing news for Bishop who had joined the Glovers on loan with a view to a permanent move. Bishop, 22, has now played a total of 57 completive fixtures for Kidderminster, Rochdale and Yeovil, culminating in 10 goals. Despite having signed professional forms in the Summer of 2002 he is yet to play a first team game for the Saddlers. Lee made it quite clear that a host of young first teamers are on their way out of the club and Andy is one of them. It was rumoured that Rochdale were interested in a permanent deal.
