Bonsor Interview - Merse Back On Wednesday

Club owner Jeff Bonsor has given a long interview to the Sunday Mercury today, giving his views of the rest of the season, announcing the return of Merson and commenting on the state of Forest and Leicester!

Jeff Bonsor has given an interview to the Sunday Mercury in which he says he is ambitious for the club to stay in the Division this season. Although he says that he is hoping the return of Paul Merson (which he has confirmed will be on Wednesday, as had already been hinted at) will galvanise the club, he also says that resources have been made available both for permanent signings and the final loan slot.

He seem to hint, however, that Gareth Farrelly might, indeed, have been one target, as he says that you cannot be suprised if players prefer Wigan in their position to us.

He also has a go at Forest for their spending of late, likening them to someone in debt on their mortgage buying a plasma screen TV and criticises Leicester for reneging on so much debt and then paying for thir players to go the La Manga. Perhaps they wish they hadn't now!
