Youngster joins relegation rivals.

Former Walsall Loanee Chris Baird has joined relegation rivals Watford on a months loan. 

The 21 year old Northern Ireland international spent late September, October and most of November at the Bescot, making 10 first team appearances.

His spell was marred by two red cards, neither of which he deserved. He made a good impression and was rumoured to be on the verge of signing for Wigan Athletic  before the deadline.

Baird enjoyed a good run of form at Walsall, coinciding with some good results for the team.

He is sure to be asset to the Watford squad who have plenty of injury problems.
