Wolves - Ikeme, Luzhny, Flynn, Lowe, Okoronkwo, Clingan, Watson, Mulligan, Barnes-Hower, Mulligan, Solas, O'Connor. Subs - Gobern, Hennessey, Townsend, Bonar, Cornes. 

^{A young Saddlers side were overpowered by a Wolves team that included a number of noticeable faces. Wolves included the Ukrainian national team Captain - Oley Luzhny. Portuguese international - Silas, and Nigerian World Cup star Okronkwo.}

^{The finishing of the two teams was of a differant quality. Wolves were efficent and clinical, while the young Saddlers were sloppy and careless.}

^{The Saddlers went in 1 goal down at half time, and conceeded another two just after the break. The Wolves goals were scored by Mulligan, Cornes and Silas. We were awarded a penalty kick just before half time, but Atieno's tame effort was saved by Ikeme.}

^{Daryl Taylor was one of our brightest talents on show. The pacey wide man switched flanks throughout the game and caused the Wolves defence no end of problems.}  

^{Wheeler,  Harkness and Willetts all put in performances worthy of a mention, while Mario Lopez-Soler looks like an interesting talent. He began up front but played deeper in the second half. He is great on the ball and is willing get stuck in when he needs to. He can be a little careless at times and looks like a bit of a headless chicken. Still, he looks like a  promising talent worth seeing more of.} 

^{Atieno, was very disappointing. He constantly got in to excellent positions only to fluff his chances or be denied by Ikeme. On another day he could have had 2 or 3 goals.} 

^{It was good to see Aaron Kerr back in action. Kerr replaced Petterson and got 45 minutes under his belt.}
