^{A violent conduct charge could have ruled Ritchie out for the rest of the season. A few weeks ago, this would have been good news; but following recent events it doesn't really matter.} 

^{If Jeff Bonsor thought it would look shrewd forcing Colin Lee not to pick him if Ritchie got a long ban - his plan has completely backfired.}

^{The reasons for the club telling Colin Lee not to pick player of the season candidate Paul Ritchie so as not to trigger his automatic contract extension might never be known. If the reason was that they though it would look shrewd if Ritchie got a long ban for the "tunnel" incident at the New Den, the plan backfired.}

^{Meanwhile, Ritchie's agent has gone on record as saying that neither of them blame Colin Lee for what has happened and that Ritchie, indeed, rates Lee as the best manger he has worked with. Whether this might lead to a reconciliation and the extension to his contract all the fans would like, remains to be seen.}
