RITCHIE COULD STAY ON
THE AGENT OF STAR DEFENDER PAUL RITCHIE
HAS BEEN SPEAKING TO THE PRESS ABOUT HIS CLIENTS OPTIONS NEXT SEASON.
David Baldwin has told the Press...
"If Walsall stay up, the clause in
Paul's contract will kick in which means he'll be entitled to a contract for
next year on similar terms to those he enjoys now.
"But now Walsall are in peril of going down, so it's a question of waiting
to see what happens.
"If Walsall stay up I'd imagine Paul will be happy to stay but if they go
down he wouldn't want to be playing his football in Division Two."
Fans are glad to have Ritchie back for the
crucial run in. It would be great if we managed to sign him up for another
season.
These words are certainly
encouraging.
