PAUL MERSON IS KEEN TO RECRUIT NEW ZEALAND INTERNATIONAL MARK PASTON. 

Paston is currently looking for a Club following the well publicized problems at Bradford City

Paston is in the same position as fellow transfer target Michael Standing. 

Merson feels he would be suited to Division Two football saying...

 "he comes for everything which is important because lthough some teams try to play football in the Second Division they do try and get the ball forward early".

Can we read anything in to this? Is he just making plans in the event of Jimmy's departure?. We didn't line up a replacement so early last season, did we?. 

What if Jimmy stays? Merse says he will remain as number 1 meaning that Paston would become number 2. 

This brings Aaron Kerr in to the frame. What does the future hold for him? Does he deserve a chance in the First Team? There haven't been many negative reports about him.
