PAUL MERSON CONTINUES TO REBUILD THE WALSALL SQUAD. MERSE WILL NOT BE RETAINING THE FOLLOWING 6 PLAYERS.
Mario Lopez-Solar - Was only ever here on non-contract terms. Never really did enough in the Reserves to warrant a new deal.
Lee Bradbury - Failed to find the net from open play while with the Club. Was brought in to score goals. Failed miserably.
Gavin Caines - Always looked good for the Reserves. Obviously not good enough to get another year. Another one ready for the non-league circuit.
Craig Burley - Epitomised the Colin Lee era. A dull, boring and unimaginative footballer who didn't look interested.
Nick Smith - Very unlucky with Injuries. Spent the second half of the season on loan to Tamworth, for whom he is expected to sign.
Andy Petterson - Thank god. Who will his next victims be?
