One former Saddler thinks another former Saddler could be the man to help them back in to the Football League. He has taken him on trial.

SIMPSON SENDS HAWLEY INVITE

WALSALL MIDFIELDER PAUL SIMPSON HAS OFFERED KARL HAWLEY A TRIAL AT BRUNTON
PARK.
Hawley left the Club during last season. He
will consider himself unlucky to have left before the Merson revolution where
youngsters are getting a chance. Hawley left at the same time as Craig Stanley
as Colin Lee restructured the squad to bring in more players.
He did go on trial at Boston, but ended up at
Hednesford until the end of the season.
Hawley now has the chance to prove his worth
with the Cumbrian outfit.
