Samways Gets A Club

Vinny Samways has got his own way and will be playing in Spain once again next season, while looking after his chain of tourist bars.

Vinny Samways is set to sign for Algeciras a lower league Spanish side on a performance related deal.

The contract is performance related and links into the amount of games that he plays and their finishing position. They are attempting to bounce back up to the Segunda Liga after relegation from it last season. Algeciras were relegated last season after winning just 6 of the 42 games played.

Samways fell out big time with the club and fans last season by saying he wanted to return to Spain part way through the season. At that time, he was a candidate for player of the season and the disruption caused by his actions was a large contributory factor in the club's eventual relegation.
