What should Merse do - Formation?

In the build up to Saturday's game with Port Vale we have decided to ask you what line up you think Merse should go with. We start off with asking you what system...

 

^{We have narrowed it down to the systems Merse has been toying with, and the odd variation of popular one's.} 

 

^{4-4-2 - The system most of us are used to. Two banks of four and two strikers. Can we accommodate our creative midfielders? Is this the solid kind of system we will need in League One.} 

 

 

^{4-4-1-1 - A favorite of Colin Lee's, and one our squad is very familiar with. . We have usually played an attacking midfielder such as Merse, Corica or Wrack in behind a single lone striker.} 

 

 

^{4-3-1-2 -A modification of the 4-4-2 where a floating creative midfielder can hopeful do some damage. It would also accommodate 3 central midfielders. We have quite a few of them.  Does it lack width?}

 

 

^{4-1-2-1-2 - We haven't really seen Merse use a diamond formation, but he has the tools to do it should he choose. Again problems with width, but we have the players to make it fit.} 

 

 

^{3-5-2 - Your bog standard 3-5-2 with two wing backs and three normal midfielders across the middle. Merse likes to use creative midfielders who play behind the front two, but we haven't seen this one yet. But we have two full backs well suited to wing back roles. Then again, we lack center halves.} 

 

^{3-1-4-2 - A 3-5-2 modification with two wing backs but a holding midfielder with two in front them. Positives the same as your standard 3-5-2.}

 

 

^{3-4-1-2 - Another modification of the 3-5-2, and something we have seen Merse use before. We play 2 wing backs, 2 normal midfielders, then a floating player in behind the strikers.}
