What Is It With Two Goal Leads?

There seem to be a lot of two goal leads being surrendered lately - the reserves are the latest come back kids as seemingly forgotten man Mark Wright strikes twice.

Despite taking a two goal lead, Rotherham United had to settle for a point in their Pontin's Holidays League opener against Walsall at Milmoor last night.

They took the lead on 22 minutes when a fine move saw Duncum deliver a perfect cross from the left to leave experienced ex Sunderland man Michael Proctor to score with a header.

The Millers went two up on 63 minutes when Newsham's shot was parried by keeper McKinney, but Proctor was on hand to knock home the rebound from close range for his second.

The Saddlers pulled a goal back through Mark Wright nine minutes later and the same player made it all square with ten minutes left when he scored with a spectacular shot from outside the penalty area.
