The coaching staff at Walsall has been further reduced today with the news that Simon Osborn has resigned as Coach to concentrate on playing.

Following the news of Iffy Onoura's departure yesterday, today has seen Simon Osborn resign from his coaching position, leaving the totally unqualified and inexperienced Merson and Walker in charge for Saturday's game against high flying Colchester United.

The only announcement has been the one on the official site, so we don't know if this is Osborn distancing himself from events off the field, or whether it is a sign of the cull continuing.
