Killer Moves Up In The World

Former Walsall, Stoke, Coventry and Macclesfield favourite Kyle Lightbourne has got a new job and it is coaching with his national side!

Following on from Siggi Eyjolfson's visit to the ground the other week in his capacity as Director of Football Development in Iceland, there has been some new of another ex Saddler picking up a similar role, but in somewhat warmer climes!

Former favourite, Kyle "Killer" Lightbourne has been appointed as the Bermudan national team coach. Killer has picked up his UEFA "B" coaching licence recently and came out of retirement to play for Bemuda in their World Cup qualifying campaign. They have now been knocked out and Kyle has picked up his very first coaching job with his national side.

He played a total of 197 games for the Saddlers before a move to Coventry for £500,000 in 1997 and was always popular with the fans. He has also played for Stoke and, latterly, for Macclesfield.
