Focus Group and Wolverhampton Watch Bennett

The date of the next supporters' focus group meeting has been announced and Wolves are definately watching Julian Bennett's progress.

In case you missed the announcement in the match day programme on Saturday, the next Supporter's Focus Meeting will be held in the Saddler’s Club on Monday 8th November. The time is usually either 7.30 or 8.00, so you should assume a 7.30 start.

The last meeting of the group was extremely well attended and got positive responses from Roy Whalley on several issues, so it is well worth as many supporters as possible trying to make the meeting. It takes the form of a question and answer session with the club's Chief Executive, so be there and help the Supporters have their say in some of the running of the club.

In the meantime, Wolves have now confirmed their interest in signing Julian Bennett. We already knew of Crewe Alexandra having the player watched following his impressive performances this season so far, but there had been nothing from our Wolverhampton neighbours, despite the fact that Stuart Gray's presence at matches was common knowledge. The local press have now got wind of the fact that it is Bennett who is being watched. This is bad news, in that Wolves could put together the kind of offer we couldn't refuse.
