Merson Prepared To Loan Out Youngsters

The official website says that Merson is looking to loan out the youngsters in order to free up resources to bring in a temporary striker.

Following the three month loan of Taiwo Atieno last week to Rochdale, Player Manager Paul Merson has now said that he is looking to loan out some of the youngsters. Although he says that this will improve them for next season, it seems that his main motive is to free up resources to bring in more attacking options.

As TheSaddlersFC predicted a while ago, it looks as if the need for some experience has been realised and the only way to achieve this is to let some of the kids go for a spell. I would expect Williams, Jameson, Willetts and Dann to be the main possibilities, but we'll see.
