Jorge And Who Up Front?

There has been a lot of discussion on the message boards about who should be playing up front. There seems to be no doubt about it, despite his comparitive lack of goal this season, it will be Jorge Leitao and A N Other.

Portuguese striker Jorge Leitao has come in for some criticism on the message boards from fans lately, not just because of his lack of goals, but also because some people are suggesting that his work rate has dropped and he needs another kick up the backside.

All I can say is this:-

"He's not the most prolific goalscorer in the World, but what he gives to the team, nobody else can give, that's why he's one of the first names on the teamsheet - it's who plays with Jorge really.
He works his socks off and that's why he'll always play and to be fair, he scored a great goal on Tuesday night, a goal that he deserves for the amount of running he does."

Why do I say that? Well, I didn't, of course, it was Paul Merson on the official site yesterday.
