Birch off the mark

Gary Birch has scored his first goal for the Harriers. It ends Birch's tough start at his new club.

Birch scored the third goal in Kidderminsters 3-1 victory over fellow relegation rivals Camberidge United. The game also saw fellow former Saddler Tom Bennett sent off for two bookable offences.

Birch had copped some flack from Stuart Watkiss earlier on his spell. The former Walsall defender was unhappy with Birchys work rate and impact on the Harriers first team.

The Harriers will now be hoping that Birch can help score the goals that will save them from dropping in to the Conferance. Birch chose the Harriers over a move to fellow League Two side Grimsby Town.
