Keeper leaves

Kiwi Internatonal Mark Paston has left the Saddlers. The former Bradford Man has found himself playing second fiddle to Joe Murphy in recent weeks.
Mark Paston has had his contract paid up, in a move that will not be a surprise to Walsall fans. The signing of Dean Coleman put the writing on the wall. Paston was one of two goalkeepers signed to replace Jimmy Walker, and broke in to the team after it became apparent that Richard McKinney wasn't up to the job of being number 1. Paston didn't inspire the team, management or fans with much confidence and found himself on the sidelines when Joe Murphy came in. One can only assume that the same fate awaits Richard McKinney when he recovers from his long term injury.
