Rush goes Tai

Taiwo Atieno has gone to Chester City on loan. Tai will be working with legendary marksmen Ian Rush. This should prove to be a good move for the London born youngster.

Atieno had a relatively good spell with Rochdale over the festive period, even managing to make an appearance in their FA CUP tie at Charlton.

Rochdale chose not to extend his stay, but Merse is keen for him to be playing so this move for Chester is good for all parties. A similar kind of spell last season did Matt Fryatt no harm what so ever.

The chance to work with Ian Rush of all people would have most young strikers chomping at the bit play at the Deva Stadium.
