For those of you bored this evening have a guess who the player is. As usual there is no prize but you will get major street cred amongst the Saddlers Netheads if you get it right.

Born in Banbury in 1961 my first professional club after leaving Banbury United was Derby County. I played 140 games for the Rams before moving to Ipswich Town in 1985. Having bagged 49 goals in 125 games I was then transferred to Chelsea in a £335,000 deal. I bagged another 55 goals in 191 appearances for The Blues.

I then joined the Saddlers after a spell at Notts County.

Overall I played 151 games for the Super Saddlers notching up 50 goals.

Just to give it away, I was also capped 42 times.
