Merse to star in MG ROVER game

The Mercury reports that Walsall boss Paul Merson will turn out in a benefit game for the former employees of MG Rover. Merse will play in a team of celebs against the Current Blues squad.

The game will see a Celebrity XI take on the current Blues team this Tuesday at 7.45. All the proceeds will go the MG Rover Benevolent Fund.

Merse will be joined by Gordon Strachan, Gary McCallister, Steve Bulll, Gordon Cowans, Tony Morley and a handful of celebrities under the leadership of Tom Ross (Radio DJ) and Barry Fry.

Tickets are £10 Adults, £5 Concs.
