Versatile full back Lee Vaughan has signed a 1 year deal with the Saddlers. He joins the club after a successful trial spell during the second half of the season.

Vaughan's previous clubs include Birmingham City and Portsmouth but he's been with the Saddlers for the last 3 or 4 months.  His ability to play in either full back position has appealed to Merson who knows that versatile players in small lower division squads are vital. 

The 19 year old defender becomes our second signing of the closed season.
