Paul Merson has added another new recruit to his squad. As his summer rebuilding continues he has now confirmed the signature of Daniel Fox from Everton.

Daniel Fox has now agreed a 2 year deal at Bescot. He has joined his team mate Gerrard in making the switch from Goodison to Bescot stadium.

With Aranalde now departed and Peurple Tweenie unable to agree a deal Merson has moved swiftly to make sure he has a complete defensive unit prior to pre season training.

With a few more additions likely before the start of the season it looks like we could have a more competitive squad than last season.

Fox, 19 years of age, is further proof that Merson is looking to build for the future rather than relying on old has beens with nothing to prove.
