Saddlers Secure New Sponsor For Stand

Tiling company Floors 2 Go are expected to be unveiled as the new sponsors of the Purple Stand at a club photocall on Tuesday. The stand, originally named after Walsall great Gilbert Alsop, then became the Purple Stand until a sponsorship deal with Purple Loans ended at the end of last season.

The club are expected to make £50 000 though the sponsorship deal, having signed a two year deal. Around 160 000 motorists on the M6 pass the Stand - which seats 4 200 fans - every day.
