Murphy heads North

Former on-loan keeper Joe Murphy has joined our League One rivals Oldham Athletic.

The Latics look like they're building a squad capable of mounting a serious promotion challenge. Backed by new investors and managed by Ronnie Moore, this could be an interesting season for our League One Counterparts.

 Murphy will sign for Oldham pending a succsesful trial period.

Oldham have also been linked with a move for Darren Byfield. The former Walsall striker is looking for yet ANOTHER new Club.
