^{Andy Oakes was our 4th keeper of 2004-2005. The impossible task of replacing the great Jim Walker took it's toll on Mark Paston, Richard McKinney, Joe Murphy and the young Dean Coleman.}

^{Oakes arrived in March 2005 and made the goalkeeping spot his own.}^{His arrival coincided with a mean defensive streak that spread through the team and saw us cruise up the table to a safe mid-table spot.}

^{Andy Oakes is tall, gangly but agile keeper who gives us a real presence in the penalty box. Oakes is a good kicker of the ball and has long throw which always comes in handy for springing a counter attack.}
